    Use TMPGEnc.

Go file > MPEG Tools > Simple de-multiplex > select input file, output file > then hit start/begin/whatever

It will output the audio as .mp2 to whatever location you specified.

  3. VCDcutter can do this, but virtualdub not. But VCDcutter is a demo and it can extract only 7 seconds of music (in MP3) with the unregistered version. If you want do this use vcdgear and after the tmgenc.

Yes Virtualdub can as long as it is a mpeg1 file (VCD) and not an mpeg2 file.

  5. vcd is not the same thing of mpeg...a vcd has a dat file, that could be converted to mpeg, if you put the dat on virtualdub it won´t work...Only if you extract with a program like vcdgear...But the vcdcutter could make it directly...
