  1. I got a ADVC-100 and it captures from my dss receiver to AVI with very good results. I use TMPGEnc to convert. I have tried with system (audio and video) and try to burn it with DVDMajestro and it won't let me. I then convery again the original file that is a little over 26 gigs, and it converts to around 4 gig. This time I convert with es (video and audio) I get the wave file and the video file, but DVDMajestro says that it needs the IFO file to do this. What am I doing wrong? Is there a guide that I can use to force play a DVD from copying from my video camera or Sat tv. receiver?
If I can use just the video and audio that is one file, how can I force the DVD player or my computer to play it by just sticking it is my DVD player?
I don't have a problem making DVD,s by ripping, but this is a stone in my way.
    Thanks for your help!!

maybe you should review your maestro manual on dvd file requirements , its very detailed, plus its unlikly you will be able to burn a dvd with maestro unless you have an authoring dvd burner (only pioneer makes one) ..

you make an image file or a VIDEO_TS folder and burn one of those instead with a different app ...

you need to use elementary streams in maestro , not program streams and not mpeg audio if you are in ntsc region ..

  3. I forgot to mention that I am using Gear Pro 6 to burn with. This is where when I try to place my m2v and audio in the burning file, it says that It can't find a info. file to place the files there. I can burn it with PrimoDVD but the DVD won't auto start. If there is a guide, or file that you can use, or write, to force a DVD, it would be of great interest to me, if you could lead me to a guide, or other information to get me on my way.
    Thanks!!

to make first play with maestro - delete the menu or select first chapter as first play or both
