  1. When I try to introduce a *.sub subtitle file using Winsubmux to a *.mpeg2 file. When I hit "Multiplex" I get the message stated above.
With another *.sub file, ripped by myself with Subrip it says `ph` is not a valid integer value. Then it wouldn´t respond normally and when I try to exit I get the message "access violation ... something".
    What should I do?

Are you certain that your sub file is in the proper format for winsubmux? You'll get errors about things not being integer values if it's not.

  4. Thank you for your response!
How do I know which is the proper format?
One of the *.sub files I used was downloaded from the internet, and the other one was ripped with subrip in a *.sub format.
I admit, in Subrip I had to choose from a lot of *.sub types, but how do I know wich one is the good one?

Not sure about downloaded subtitles, there are quite a few formats and I don't deal with downloads much.

subrip doesn't directly support submux format. Save them in Phillips SVCD Designer format and open the .sub file in a text editor. At the top you'll see some lines starting with "#", a "[HEADER]" section with some information, and a "[LIST]" section with subtitle filenames and timing and location information. Delete everything above the first subtitle.bmp line.
