  1. Is it possible to put a "black bar" behind your subtitels when you add them, so you don't see the original subtitles in the movie?

    I am not sure if this help you but try edit the subtitle with a program called Subresync cause it has a optin to to black shit arounf the text.
    Subresync is a program in Vobsub so download it and find the program Subresync,then try to edit it.
