First time burning vcd

I need help, I downloaded the movie in mpg format, How do I know if this is in PAL or NTSC, How do I burn this movie in vcd, I have Nero 5.5.4, I also have TMPGenc.

I have try burning this mpg file using nero, but when I play this movie on my DVD (Toshiba SD-3109) I ge distortion on tv for about 15 minute then it start to fade away.

I belive this movie is in PAL mpg.

Please help......Thank you in advance....(First time burning vcd)

have you tried doing an error check and see if the mpeg file you downloaded isnt corrupt?
(you can get the software from the "tools" section on the left side of the page)

ps also try other burning programs "experiment alittle"

ok if the mpeg is good use the wizard in nero and choose vcd format it will automattically do it
on whether its a pal or ntsc just check the properties when u play it in what ever prog u use

How do I eliminate the distortion?, (like block, kind like on dvd when you have scrach).. Pleas help
