    Hi i am a newbee at this so please take it easy on me
    But i want to know, how to calculate how much data rate kb/s to use when i want to convert a mpg to divx, and same question on the audio part?

  2. What you need is a bitrate calculator you could get one here in the tools section or you could try divx-digest.com i think thats where i downlaoded the one i have from.
    Its already wiped out the dodo, the cuckoo, and the nene. And it has nasty plans for the booby, the titmouse, the woodcock, and the titpecker.

    Thnaks for the reply, but i wounder one thing more
    How much is the normal data rate kb/s for a normal quality,
    when i calculate my movies to fit a cd they go down to 600-700?
    Is that bad quallity?, should i burn them on ceveral cds instead or is it enough?
