    I have d/l that is a .avi file, when I try to play it on Divx Player I get an error message of "failed to open/file" I am using Divx Player 2.0 with the Divx Pro 5.02 bundle upgrade. I have also tried PowerDVD and it will not open in it also.

    Can someone please offer some assistance, it would be appericated.

    Do you have the xvid codec?

    Or it is possibly a fake file.

    the xvid codec is in the nimo codec pack V5.0 build 7

    I downloaded the lastedt Nimo without success, it must be a bad file.
