These are the steps I have been using to create VCDs. I am hoping to streamline the process if anyone has any feedback.

1. Capture DV via a ADS Pyro Firewire from a Sony TRV-315 Digital 8 Camcorder.
2. Create/Produce using Videowave 5 to one or more 10 minute DV-AVI files. I find if I go longer than 10 minutes I run into voice sync issues. The more fading/effect tranisions the more likely sync issues occur.
3. Take the AVI files into TMPEG Encoder to create MPEG1(VCD) or MPEG2(DVD).
4. Use Nero Rom to burn VCD/DVD. For VCDs I use Memorex CD-RW Platinum 650MB/74min and always write at 4x. I am not sure what is with these CD-RW's but I have never had a coaster yet with these CDs.![]()
