Hi,
I have downloaded a movie from the internet and it's framerate is 12,500 FPS, but I want to encode it to VCD, and it won't open in TMPGEnc.
Any ideas how to resolve this problem, or an alternative to help me?
Thanks In Advance,
Ronnie

..being a newbie myself, i tend to keep bashing away with as many free progs as i can...from experience the two i've had the best results with in terms of preparing files for TMPGenc are:
Vidomi. especially good with avis and divx
FlaskMPG. seems to accept many inputs, and has a broad range of output file type profiles
you may find there's a multiple conversion to do before burn to vcd (to do this, i strongly recommend VCDeasy)
sorry can't be more specific, i haven't encountered your specific file format...12500 FPS? sounds like a LOT! a typical mpeg1 for VCDeasy input has 25 FPS...
good luck -
No matter what you do, it will look jerky. 12.5 fps just won't convert very well. It sounds like a PAL (25 fps) encode that someone mutilated to make it smaller.
Word of Advice; Don't bother. There are plently for 24/25/30 fps good quality videos on the internet, don't waste your time on something that will never look good on a TV.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan
