Ive managed to convert the .vob files to an mpg, or 2 seperate mpgs, but the audio is out of sync with the actual movie. How would a newbie like me go about to fix this problem? Any feedback or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks much

  3. I got some Audio Sync problems using DVDx 1.2

I haven't tried it but I just noticed that 1.3 is available and it includes the following new features:

    Adobe Premiere Plugins compatibility
    FrameServing (woohoo!!!)

I know 1.1 and even 1.2 had problems with NTSC. This isn't mentioned in the history for 1.3 so who knows if it was fixed.

Give 1.3 a try... the FrameServe capabilities may help.

    Good Luck!

Heh, yea i have version 1.3.. It encodes great! I aint complaing over that, the sound encodes to the video too! But, why is it that as the movie drags on, the sound and the video get out of synch.. it looks like an old Godzilla movie(so to speak). How would i go about correcting this?

    Thanks all

This is the exact paragraph im having problems with. I found it on the website for DVDx.

-You may get an audio/video synch problem if you ripp the totality of the dvd.
It's due to audio blank located at beggining of movie (often during
of beetween advertisement). You may also get "Samples not found or audio decoding error".
So start ripp from the beginning of the movie to avoid this.
