My burnt 'vcd compliant' vcd's will play in most 'cheaper' dvd players but not on the more expensive dvd players. Playback ranges from not recodnising the disc to playing movie for about 15 minutes before starting to break up (audio+video stuttering - getting worse) before eventually stopping all together. Anyone have any Ideas?. p.s my svcd's play great in all the DVD players i've tried so far!! (using nero 5.5 - tried vcd easy, and NTI2000)
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Way,
I'm new to this game but I'm aware that not all DVD players are capable of playing VCD's. Some if not all have a 'secret' menu somewhere in them though, when found, this can reconfigure the player to be multi region and play all types of discs including Mp3s. Try going to a website of the DVD manufacturer to see if you can access that menu
