Good news everyone!

I have found out how to change the 3600PKT to play any region dvds..

1. Eject the drive tray
2. Press 8,1,3,2,8
3. Your current region will be displayed. Press enter until 'Region 9' is displayed.
4. Press any other button (e.g. Play) to save this setting.

This worked for me, hopefully it works for you too
