Hi,

I'm really new on video editing. I just got my first camcorder CDR-TRV340E last week. I'm using Pixela ImageMixer program for editing as its came together with the camcoder.

The problem is, I'm notice that once finish editing using this software, it will change the size of the movie to 320x240. I'm using NERO to burn into VCD, where NERO will encode it to 352x288 (My system is PAL). As a result, I got a low quality movie on my TV. The quality is bad compare to the VCD or VHS that I bought from the shop. I could not find any option on ImageMixer to change the resolution. I really appreciate if anyone can give me a solution on this.

On the other hand, I have a Ulead Video Studio ver. 5, which came bundled with my FireWire card. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Can this software do a better job than ImageMixer?

There are a lot tools suggested on this forum, which make me confius which one to go, but I really appreciate if someone can very fast just let me know the best tools for :
1. Capturing video
2. Editing
3. Encoding
4. Burn to CD

For info, my DV is SONY CDR-TRV340E, my cd-writer is aopen 20x10x40. CPU Speed is 1.1GHz, RAM 512, Harddisk 80GB, OS is WINXP.
