stupid quality with divx5 and gordian knot? plz help

Just dont a dvd rip of the movie sorority boys and the movie that came out with the most ugly quality ever! it had no sound, didnt come out full and was real bad, also it bad 2 files, about 200 mb each.

NEED HELP PLZ!

install divx 5.02 pro,if you dont it will come out as divx 4
i dont have gordian knot do the audio for me,but i think if you do it comes out as another file,which you have to join.
when i rip it comes out as ac3 and i join with virtualdub 1.4c/ac3.if i want to convert i use besweet.
only use 1.4c/ac3 just for joining ac3 to avi,cutting and mp3 use another ver.
