  1. I would like to know how to add subtitles and create chapters of an mpeg file before burning it as svcd with nero.
I read SVCDs support up to 4 subtitles and you can also create chapters of the movie.
    Someone, please!?...

  2. You can use VCDEasy and Chapter Xtractor to create your chapters. Use Chaptor Xtractor to extract the .inf file that stores the chapter information and select all and copy that.
Then go into VCDEasy and paste that into the chapter section. It will incorporate that into the BIN/CUE file and then you use Nero to burn the BIN.

  4. Also, if you goto Nero's website you can download their new program which is in Demo mode right now. It will create intricate menus, you can manually put in all of your chapter stops and give each chapter a title. And in the menu that's created it will take a still from each chapter and place the title under the picture. Then you can just select the button and it plays that chapter.
As far as subtitles though, I don't know.

SVCD supports selectable (DVD-like) subtitles, though not all players can display them. If you're getting them from a DVD you'd use subrip to extract them and winsubmux to add them to the SVCD MPG file. If you're getting them from some other source you'd need to convert them before adding them with winsubmux.

  7. thank you, Sterno! The problem is that I tried to use both subrip and winsubmux, but I keep getting errors.
Please look in this forumīs topic "ERROR! - `` is not a valid integer value". It is mine, too, and is about those 2 softwares. I donīt know which format to choose.
