Digix dv-288

Hey all, has anyone heard of the Digix media dv-288 dvd player.
It says it supports dvd/cd/cd-r/cd-rw/mp3/kodak photo but not vcd. Any sucessfully hacked it to play vcd, divx, ogg, e.t.c thanks

According to posts in nerd-out.com, it is a clone of the Norcent 300, except the access codes for that unit do not apply to this one. I have one of these myself, thanks to Wal-Mart running completely out of Apex models during the Xmas rush.

I honestly haven't had any time to play with it yet. What is especially fascinating is that there has been absolutely nothing found in Google searches about this brand, the model, or the company that "manufactures" it (it's all OEM China).

The manual in the store was hysterical though. Classic Chinglish.
