I have converted my DVD to Divx format so I can use Media Center to view them directly from mg harddrive. I use DVD decrypted, and Viodmi. when I go to view them from the harddrive I notice alot of weird pixelization. Not just at times of fast action but always. Is their a setting I am missing to make better quality files? Or Should I be using other programs?

Try using divx codec 5.02 and quality based one pass. HERE are a couple of my screens done this way with Vidomi. Roll over the picture.

DivX 5.02 is an excellent codec and if you encode at 1 pass Quality based with a Quality of 2, you get a whole lot better image than MPEG-2 with a smaller AVI file.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
