dvd+r on standalone

hai all. at first a merry christmas and a happy newyear.

now the question......

i made a backup from a dvd to a dvd+r.
with dvd decryptor set is iso read and wrote it as iso write.

when i play the dvd on a stand alone dvdplayer everything works perfect for about 1 hour. after that de movie stops a few seconds dan it starts again and then it stops again then it starts etc.......

what can be the problem.

dvdwriter = aopen dvrw2412pro
standalonedvdplayer= hiteker
win xp home
amd athlon xp +1700
512 mb mem
40gb +80gb hd

It seems that you are having the same problem than I !!
Please read my post, and tell what media are you using, recorder and ... do you stick labels in the dvd ??.. like covers !?

I was having the same problem. The best way(the way it worked for me) is to get your VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders set up on your hard drive. Then USING NERO, drag and drop and burn. I tried couple of times with writing Image and burning that way but it crapped out all the time. Nero works perfectly! make sure you select DVD-ROM(udf) mode...My dvd even worked on the FIRST ever generation dvd player! sweet.

hi Dcent the recorder is an Aopen dvd+rw/+r writer type dvrw2412pro and the media i use is platinum dvd+r 4,7gb. and no i don't use labels on the dvd.

I also gonna give it a try, but I read somewere that recordNow is better than Nero to burn, so, since then, I burn with RecordNow.
I think I'm gonna give another chance to Nero.
