    If you have an mpeg2 file in your computer and you want to watch it on your windows media player, how do you import your mpeg2 codec into media player so that you can watch the movie?.
    And if you have an mpeg2 codec in your computer do you need a decoder to watch the mpeg2 file?.

    the simplest would be to just install PowerDVD or WinDVD and watch your
    mpeg-2.

    There's a couple of other mpeg-2 apps out their, but these two are the most
    common ones used.
