    Hello everyone

    Can someone please tell me why the Zoom Option on my Toshiba
    SD-2650 does not work when I play my created SVCD's?

    I use DVD2SVCD.

    Is there an option in DVD2SVCD that will copy the dvd's zoom option to cd?

    Or is it just the simple fact that the converted SVCD's cannot run with a zoom option?

    "Zooming" is a hardware specific feature. Some players can do it for SVCD, some cannot. It has nothing to do with the disc itself.

    As for cropping and enlarging the video when you encode it, I'm sure that some people have done it but I don't recommend it. Basically, as you can't "pan and scan", you are going to end up cropping off important parts of the picture during the film.
