    Hi,
I have used several DVD authoring packages in order to author MyDVDs to the required Video TS folders but this seem to take an age i.e. 1hr 45mins for one project with DVDit and 1hr 30mins for one with DVD workshop etc.

I use pre encoded mpegs which have the require DVD standard but the software seems to spend most of its time thrashing the hard disk.

As far as I can tell the software seems to spend most of its time Demuliplexing the Mpegs and re encoding them to VOBs.

What I am wondering is this a typical amount of time you normally have to wait to have a project read to burn?
Or are there any way to speed things up?

If you wire me the money or personal cheque or cash maybe I'll upgrade but 1Ghz is fast enough for me at the moment.

    Donations to the usual address.
