Hi there!
I just converted a DIVX movie to SVCD with TMPEGenc. But when I wanted to add a permanent subtitle to the movie virtualdub gives me an error that virtualdub doesn't read Mpeg2. I usally make vcd's and add a subtitle to it. That is no problem at all. Has anyone a tip or something so I can add a subtitle to it? Is there any filter for it or something? Thanks a lot Ba-2 8)

The time to add the permanent subtitles was when you were encoding with TMPG. To add them now would mean another encode.
A relatively easy way to get subtitles is to frameserve your DivX to TMPG with Virtualdub and use the Vobsub filter. -
All right thanks a lot. But when I tried to frameserve the avi with a subtitle filter to Tmpegenc, it gave me a error which said: "Illegal floating decimal point calculation order"!?
What should I do? Thanks a lot and cheers! Ba-2
