  1. I have followed the steps on what to do to create a vcd BIN from an mpeg at http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdimagergui.htm

    I get the program up, select the mpeg file and where i wish to save the BIN click MAKE BIN and i get the following message:

    Assertion failed: CreateProcess(0, argv.c_str(), 0, 0,TRUE, 0, O, O, &si, &pi) file D:\My Documents\vcdimagergui\thread.cpp, line 93

    click OK then this message pops up:

    Abnormal program termination

    Anyone know what I've done wrong or how to fix this problem?

    I thought i'd add that my D:\ is my CD-Rom drive (so I'm not sure what that has to do with the above error message.)

    If anyone can help me out I'd really, really appreciate it.

    Thanx in advance...

    Baz.

    I'm not really sure about your problem but try and change the output dir for the BIN to C:\ (Or whatever you HDD is)
    This should fix the problem.

    The problem probably came up because that VCDImager tried to create a file on a CD-ROM (Or on the empty drive

    Just try my tip

    I didn't type in D:/, i typed in C (HDD).

    It just don't seem to wanna work for me along with all the other dozen programs i've d/loaded. But never give up sounds good, but it's a pain in the ass going around in circles with no answers.

    Anyway, thanx for your input
