desperate for help with codecs

can you help an idiot please? downloaded some dvd rips and will not play, if i use gspot to look at them it says that they are mpeg3 and that i have it installed, ive also got divx5 installed but still will not play all divx that are mpeg3, i thought that if i had mpeg5 it would play all mpegs below 5 , if i got to install 3 again where do i get it from and if i install it does it over write 5? lastly is there somewhere that i can get a package of all divx codecs and all other types of codecs and install them so that i can watch films without all these problems.

If it doesn´t work,try uninstall all your divx codecs and then install Nimo.

no didnt work, any ideas? ithought of loading it in virtualdub and converting it to divx again to see if that works but what settings do i use?

Didn´t it worked.
Ok tell me now all codecs you have,is it only Nimo or have you DivX codecs too left?

Try uninstall all codecs inclusive Nimo and then install Nimo Pack again with this:

Video codecs: ALL except Huffyuv 2.1.1
Frame server: Don´t change
Audio codecs: ALL
Direct Show filter: Don´t change somtheing except all Divc Directshow
Misc Stuff: Don´t change
