  1. Hi

    I have a DivX file i want to split in 2 parts. When i do a "Scan video stream for errors..." i get this: 0 frames bad, 0 frames good but undecodable. What does this mean and what can i do to fix this? I have problems when i cut the file in 2 parts or more. Audio sync problems... Audio is always some seconds ahead of the video How do i fix this?

    This is some info of the DivX file:

    Video Stream
    ----------------
    Decompressor = MS MPEG 4 3688 V3

    Audio Stream
    ----------------
    Audio: 48kHz
    Compression: Fraunhafer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec

    Thanks in advance...

    It means there is nothing wrong with the video stream of your DivX.

    Use Nandub which will handle vbr audio better.

    Presumably you are converting to (S)VCD. If so, extract the audio as uncompressed wav first and encode with TMPG. The easiest way is to use TMPG's source range setting, which will give you 2 mpegs, or encode as one and then split.

  5. I tried to extract the audio in virtualdub and extract video seperatly and then encode it in tmpgenc and didn't help at all, same problem. Now i tried just to use tmpgenc and tried on a small part of the movie, now it seems fine... What problem might be cousing this?
    Thanks for help!

    If the DivX plays OK, and you extract the audio as uncompressed wav (ie use full processing mode) then I can think of no explanation. [/b]
