no sound with mpg file

Hello.

can annybody thel me wy y dont have sound on a movie burd on a cd
with nero it's an mpg file and y wrote it like a video cd.

please melp me thanks

Hi try this...it worked for me...I was encoding to mpeg from divX and would get no sound when the mpeg file was finished..read a few posts and tried the solution.....at the top of TMPEGEnc click on Enviroment Setting and then into VFAPI plug-in ...once in there give Direct Show a higher priority

Try to extract audio first in Vdub Full Processing. When you done you will have a WAV file, that WAV file point as Audio file in TMPEGEnc when encoding DiVX.

but also make sure that the coversion settings within audio in Virtualdub are:

VCD Audio Specs

16 bit
44,100Khz sample rate
stereo

DVD Audio Specs

16 bit
48,000Khz sample rate
stereo
