If anyone has experienced this please let me know how you eliminated this. When there is any motion, the subject leaves a trailing effect. During the capture there were no dropped frames, so this isn't the issue. I tried burning to DVD, and it also happens on the DVD.
When I say trail, I'm talking about the same effect as if you waved your hand in front of a tv. It's frusrating because the video quality is great except for this. Thanks for your help....

Looks like an interlacing problem to me. There are tons of messages on interlacing/de-interlacing on this forum so have a look through these
