avi file playback no Sound no Picture

I have tis avi file with filename similar to tis "unsubbed.cam.(1of2).avi". On WMP, the file is able to play however there is no sound nor picture? Previously, I hv also installed DivX and nimocodec pack as well, most files I have are playable except for this. what is causing this?

Two things spring to mind. First, download and install gspot. This will tell you what codecs are needed and if they are currently installed on your system or not.
The second thing is that this might be a fake. If it originated on one the P2P files sharing systems like Kazaa or Grokster then there are quite a few fakes around masquerading as real movies.

I have also installed Gspot too and result say it is ok. I thought it might be a fake but I have downloaded 2/3 files all with the same problem... Am i plain unlucky or mere concidence?

Well, you may be just plain unlucky. If the files you are downloading are latest releases, not yet available other than in theaters then that may go some way to explaining your misfortune as these seem to be favourites of the fakers.
