    i don't know what i need some of the movies that downloaded won't play. i have a pack on my computer(adaptec) but sometimes it doesn't work right, i installed nimo. but do i have to uninstall adaptec? or is there something else i should do.

    Use gspot to try and determine what codec was used for your AVI file.

    FYI, adaptec is only the name of a company, like IBM, microsoft or any other. Gotta call things by their names...
