  1. I mean be a complete idiot by setting this up wrong, but here we go. I installed the card no problem. I set up my vcr and I hook it up using A/V. I use the ATI programs to view my tape, the video shows up, but with no sound. Their has to be an answer! So, I think it was the ATI program, so I tried VirtualDub, but still no Audio. I rehook it in ever possible manner, is their any way to fix it? Or is this just another careless mistake by a newbie.

  4. ATI... You said enough. Nice hardware, shitty drivers, as most already have found out. Shame... Such promise.

  5. I did have audio problem, but it got solved when in ATI I clicked VIDEO SOURCE, then in video driver panel clicked CABLE and then after 1 second clicked COMPOSITE. The sound came right through - I am not sure whether I got your problem right, but give it a try. And pl let me know if you have found a better solution to this problem. Thanks.

  6. This has happened to me a couple of times with new installs. It could be that your ATI card is sharing the same IRQ with your sound card. Look in system properties and see if this is the case. If it is you can manually assign IRQ's in the bios or you can try swapping the cards to different slots and see if plug and pray fixes the problem.
