  1. I downloaded a movie. It's 2 Divx Avi files but when i want to burn them as a SVCD they are to big.
Is there a possibility to create from the 2 Avi files 3 SVCD's ????

Merge them together in VDUB. Then follow the standard guide for DivX--> SVCD.

To be a bit more specific:
Open the first AVI in VirtualDub
Set Audio to Direct Stream Copy
Set Video to Direct Stream Copy
    From the File menu:
Select FILE | Append AVI Segement
    Select your second avi.
Select FILE | SAVE AVI, and give it a new name.

    Easy.

Split your avi/xviD file into 3 parts. Even of them should be NOT longer than approx. 44 mins to fit on a 700mb SVCD after re-coding!
Use VDub and search for a good point - you must use a Keyframe as startpoint for every of the 3 files to get correct splitted files.

If you have 3 target files I would recommend then encoding to SVCD with TMPGEnc and a SVCD template (various are delivered with the program).

Depending on your encode method (VBR VS CBR), time is not a strict rule of thumb either, but it is a good place to start. 40 minutes on a CBR encode is good. 45-50 minutes on a multipass VBR encode is also good.
