Data error copying VCDs

Someone just sent me 4 vcd discs..these play fine on my pc, but when I try copying them using either Adaptec CDCopy or
cdrwin discbackup..I get a DATA Error message, and copying
aborts out. Why is this? Is there a way for me to reburn
these discs so that they can be played and copied has usual?
All the other vcd discs I have copy fine using either cdrwin or adaptec cdcopy.

CDClone seems to be able to copy these CDR VCDs without the data error that adaptec or CDrwin gave me.
