I hear people say that NTSCFILM VCDs are not as compatible with standalone DVD players as regular 29.97 NTSC VCDs. I know 23.97 NTSCFILM VCDs are in the whitebook spec, so every VCD compatible DVD player should play them. Has anyone experienced a standalone that can not play them?

Incidentally, 23.97 makes for substantally better video quality.
