Boy Did I get a deal !

I ordered my dru500a on the 12/07/03 and it stated it wont be shipped until 01/03/02 so I was in and around Maryland today and called best buy 50 miles away, and informed me that they had one in stock, only one and thats all. I got it reserved, which was 339.99 not including the 50 dollar rebate I found for purchasing it. So pretty much I got a deal 339.99 x 5% sales tax and then minus the 50 dollar mail in rebate not a bad offer!! !

I have a feeling Dell.com wont be getting in for a while. They told me they were getting some in this week.... but he said today none will be in stock until after Christmas

But check best buys 50-70 miles away if your willing to travel, which I was !

well i sent it in this evening, so If they say they arent having it, well id imagine they would have to offer something, i have the rebate form. Its within the specified dates!

yea, they cant just simply cancel the rebate since it states the expire date. If they would refuse the rebate, people will go to court for faulse advertisement!

They can't just break the law!

PS does anyone know when JandR will get their shipment? I want to exchange my Pioneer A05 for sony dru500a and my deadline is 24 of December. ANy word from shipment delays?

I would look at like pricegrabber.com if you want !? Or call your local best buy stores. I am sure you could stll sell your pioneer for a decent price I would imagine on ebay.com or yahoo's service. Who knows ? Just an idea!
Dell told me this week, but then everyone else is saying not until after x-mas!?!
