    I've you download VCD sample and burned it with Nero 5.59.14 but my DVD player won't read it. It says that is not a valid disk. My other DVD player (SONY S325) says No Disc
    Is the quality of the CD very important or is there something else

    It looks like both of them may have problems with certain Cd-R and also with making XVCD and XSVCD
