  1. Hello all,

I'm trying to create a MPEG-1 file of a slide show with sound ...

I can't seem to figure it out ... I know how to create a MPEG still from a JPEG but how can I merge lots of MPEG stills and add sound to the bacjground ???

    Thanks !

  2. Use a program called PictureToTV. I found this on this website and it has been great ever since. The best thing about it is that it can do all that you request but it also stores the original quality jpeg or image in on the CD for future use. I especially love the feature that allows me to arrange the images via thumbnails in windows explorer and then select to drag and drop them in the PictureToTV album. It creates menus of the various album compilations were you can also add sound to the menu. Love the fact that v1.2 now uses the Nero software to burn directly to the CD. (previous did also but not the NERO option) I've created a 30 minute VCD with still pictures and sound. Works Great.... Highly recommend you get it and use it.

  3. JJ,

Are you using the DEMO/Sharware version ?

Are you able to get the "EVALUATION COPY" message out of there ?

    Thanks !

  4. Use Slide Show Movie Maker. It will create .avi, then use TMPGEnc to convert it to MPEG1

You can try Photo2VCD Professional (http://www.photo2vcd.com). It can do this.
