  1. i know its been asked before but ive tried all suggestions on the mater, ive got a film on 3 SVCD discs, ive copied them over to my hdd, used vcdgear to "strip" headers etc,the resulting mpegs play fine in mediaplayer, yet when i use tmpgenc to join them together it goes pear shaped,at the join everything goes out of sync/cuts short etc.
i thinking of downloading the m2 edit demo, but at 27mb and no broadband (
can i sort it out with the tools i have?
    tmpgenc
    dvd2avi
    vitualdub
    vcdgear

    cheers

Try copying the mpegs directly to HD. Then use TMPG's mpeg tools to multiplex (SVCD option). Then try joining them.

  3. thanks banjazzer foe replying, tried it ,didnt work, each file became longer (about a minute) after i multiplexed, but when i used merge+cut in tmpgenc the resulting file was a mess, audio missing/out of sync.

i cant understand why each file plays fine, but cannot be joined.

    thanks again
