  1. Recently, I just bought a vcd player from ebay for about $60. Upon receiving it, I tried playing my vcds which I burned using vcdimager and cdrwin3. All the vcds that I tried would not work. The manual said that it would only play vcds that had the Video CD indicator on the case (meaning any cds I burn will not work). Is there any way I can get around this?

  2. Two possibilities:
    (1) the VCD player doesn't read CD media
    (2) you've been ripped off and the VCD player is broken.

Stand-alone VCD players tend to be limited so make sure your "VCDs" are standard VCDs. Also, stand-alone VCD players use CD drives so they tend not to read CD-RW discs. However, they generally read CD-R discs just fine...
