DVD TO DVD-R (Picture Pauses Every So Often)

Hiya All,

First of all i was wondering whether or not anyone knows why i have a certain problem? the problem is that after i decode a dvd using TMPGEnc i always check it out and have a look at the .M2V file. The video is fine at this stage! Then when i put the whole thing together in DVDMaestro and play the dvd once finished the video will occasionally pause!! Does anyone know why? or if no what other software can i use apart from DVDMaestro!

Also after a little messing around im still not sure it is DVDMaestro coz if i decode the DVD at a very low bitrate then when i use DVDMaestro things come out fine! It only seems to happen when i use a high bitrate!! ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Is the movie freezing when you play it on your PC or on your set top box. I have come across this freezing video problem before. I have backed up quite a few DVDs on to DVD-R, they have all played fine on my Pioneer set top box. However, when I have tried to play them on Sony/Denon players the movie freezes for 1 or 2 seconds every 10 minutes or so. It could be your box is not really DVD-R compat.
