Hi All,
I have tried Dvdxcopy and I am very pleased with it. What I want to know is, can't I just select the vobs for the movie and only encode them to a dvd? I don't really need the menus and all of that extra stuff.
Thanks in advance.

There have been some threads here about using the freeware tools with DVDxCopy (between the rip and the burn) to take out stuff. Do a forum search for DVDxCopy.
I heard that the version 1.2 lets you choose which stuff to put on which disk, if the movie itself was small enough you could put that on the first disk and send the extras to the second which you could not burn. I haven't played with enough films to see if that's so, however. -
Thanks. I'm going to give that a try. What I've been doing up to now is just selecting everything. I'm going to try and just select the main movie vobs and see what happens.

hehe... or you could use IFOEdit and do it the way YOU want it to be. It's not that difficult to use.
