  1. I just burned 2 movies in the kvcd format. Great quality and holds one movie per CD (smaller than svcd?!) What is this format?

    1) how do you encode your video ? which tool ?
    2) format: MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 ?
    3) burning: What tool do you use to burn your KVCD ? firewood ?
    maybe mispelling ? XVCD instead of KVCD.
    BTW, since you burn the disc yourself, how do you know to choose KVCD.
    I am exremely curious.

  3. Kvcd is another type of xvcd. There are several kvcd templates that hold from 60-180 minutes. Check out www.kvcd.net for more info. Hope this helps.

    Simply put, KVCDs are non-standard VCDs, similar to XVCDs
    "KVCD" is not a standard.

    And ktnwin - I got this movie from a friend of mine in bin image file. Do you know every different XVCD format? I don't. I don't even know the specs for kvcd and want to get some on it! Is that wild west for ya?
