  1. ripped files from dvd, using claddvdxp, when i playback the resulting mpeg1 file on my computer i have no audio. i've used this method before with no problems. the individual vob files playback fine with audio but when i convert the D2V file to mpeg with the AC3 audio file the resulting file is silent. any clues?

  3. one problem, when i use claddvdxp, if i frameserve with the same program i only have one audio file to choose from. as i said in my original post i've used this method in the past with no problems. is there some way to check the integrity of the audio file before i convert to mpeg1 so i can narrow it down to either the problem is occurring during the ripping process or during conversion to mpeg?
