  1. Hi folks
Sorry for posting twice, but i got no answer 4weeks ago at Newbieforum and I didnt find any solution. So can anybody help me?

I´ve got one simple question: I wanted to encode an .AVI as SVCD using DVD2SVCD. everything works all right, until DVD2SVCD comes to the point "Executing Frameserver". It opens the VFAPI ReaderCodec v1.04 BETA and there it stucks. Nothing else. When I close the Window by pressing exit DVD2SVCD (or in this case AVI2SVCD) says "Executing Frameserver: Program Handler not found". What does this mean?

I´m using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 build3 (the AVI2SVCD is v1.0.9 build3). I tried with CCE 2.50 and CCE 2.46, but I think it has something to do with AVISYNTH.

The DVD2SVCD-Log file looks like this:

  2. I'm having the same prob!
It stucks after "Executing frameserver", it actually adds the job and I
can see that convert has been pressed, but then nothing happens.
I think DVD2SVCD(my version: 110B1c) works with the "Sendkey"
method to get the external tools like the frameserver "VFAPIConv-EN.exe"
or CCE/TMPGEnc working, so I think it is maybe too fast, means
frameserver isn't ready yet to do the next job.
Funny thing is it worked yesterday, now that I've reinstalled the NimoCodec
pack today it doesn't work anymore.
Either a sendkey prob(too fast or maybe the wrong keys) or a new/missing codec.

  3. I did a few tests and found out that with enabled option "Encoder"->"Safe mode (frameserving)"
for CCE vewsions higher than 2.50 it didn't work, at least for me.
I'm running DVD2SVCD with CCE2.50 right now, maybe u should try to disable
    this option.

  4. Well i tried version 2.50 and it didn´t work. But I also have a newer version of Nimos Codec pack.
You said that You´re running DVD2SVCD with CCE2.50 right now. Does it work now? What system do u have?
With Win2K everything worked all right, but now i use WinXP. Perhaps the error is there?

Maybe u should just remove the whole Nimo Codec package and only
install the basic version, I don't know. Btw, I thought 5.08 was the
    latest Nimo Codec, isn't it?
    Good luck
