I am recording to DVD-R from cable tv with the intent of ripping the DVD's into avi's. Looking to keep the highest quality I'm wondering, does one think that there will be a discernable difference in the final avi if the DVD was recorded at 5.7mb/s vbr as apposed to 8.0mb/s vbr?
Regards,
Golem
