I just encode some videos from my SVHS (RCA to PC) to a VCD usin the TMPG encoder, then, when I playback the VCD in my standalone VCD connected to my TV it looks like in a bad tranfer rate or something, like in slow motion or with to few FPS...

    What can I do?

  2. (1) Did you load the VCD template with TMPGEnc?
    (2) Does it look okay on your PC?

    Regards.

Yes,.. I just loaded the VCD tamplate to encode.

And, yes, the VCDs created run just fine in my PC, but slow in any VCD player (not yet tested in a DVD player ...)

Then, when I use XingMPEG encoder instead TMPEG encoder the motion is fine, but I get audio out of synch.

  4. Since you are capturing video, I assume that you must have used an intermediary AVI first. What codec did you use? DivX? MP3 for audio?

There can be problems converting DivX to MPEG and I suggest that you read some of the guides on ways to overcome them...

Alternatively, try capturing with a codec that is a little more friendly to encode with (e.g., a MJPEG AVI codec or HuffyUV).

    Best of luck.

    Hello, thanX for replying,...

I'm using my ATI capture software, wich captures to AVI & MPG1 & 2.

I am capturing to MPG1 then converting to VCD stream using Xing encoder & TMPGEcoder, then burning with EZCDCreator 5 (with XP patch)

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong,...

    Greetings
