Hi I'm trying to convert a mpeg 1 (500 mbs or so)file from pal to ntsc with TMPGEnc. It's the first half of a downloaded movie(most of my downloaded movies seem to be in pal form much to my dismay). Anyway, following the guide I just browse for the video file and skip the next section because the files are stored on my pc. I load the file to DVD ntsc(because I eventually wanna burn to dvd after I splice it with the other half) and then it says "file cannot be encoded" or something like that. I tried a different file to see if it would work and it's actually encoding right now, but it's a dvd rip so that may be why it worked(?). Ok sorry for the long question, and thnx in advance for any help.
scott
