  1. hi

    apprec any help here:
am using picturetotv to generate vcd of stills with transition effects and music; the process results in a bin/cue file system; question: how do i then sequentialize this with another video stream (sequence of short avi video clips converted to mpeg by arcsoft video impression)?

objective is to finally burn only 1 vcd

    thnx

  3. Um, Nero isn't going to help you here.

It sounds like you need to extract the MPEG file out of the CUE/BIN file and then make your own VCD (e.g., with additional clips / menus). You can do so with VCDGear or VCDXRIP. You can use VCDImager Tools GUI as a GUI to VCDXRIP ( http://www.michaeltam.com/vcdimager_tools_gui.html ).

Once you've extracted the video clip of your photo slideshow, you can use any other VCD authoring program (e.g., VCDEasy / VCDImager or Nero).

  4. thnx torro

    - am actually using nero 5.5 to do the actual burn
    - yes, converted the avi to mpeg1 already thru arcsoft video impression
question: now how to thread together the generated bin/cue, followed by the mpeg?

    thnx virtualis

is there any way to manioulate/edit the bin/cue? really like the resolution generated by picturetotv; problm is that it is a one-stop process, no way that i can see to intercept; dont really want to reverse and re-extract the mpg

    thnx again one and all

    Um, read my previous post.

You can use VCDGear or VCDXRIP (with VCDImager Tools GUI) to extract media files out of the CUE/BIN image.
