    Need help, I bought recently a Mintek portable dvd player(5830 model), I have tried two types of recordable cds, panasonic and a generic type, and it wont play them, is there a brand that will play on this player?? Maxell? Tdk?? Please advise, any help is appreciated......

    sorry my last message was a typo, I have been trying recordable dvd-r's not cds like I said accidentally, on my new Mintek portable dvd player and they won't play the ones I tried. Is there a brand that will play on this Mintek portable??
