    I am looking for a DVD recorder that laso records in VCD and SVCD format.
    Do you know of any.

  2. Any of the DVD burners will do exactly what you want. Forget about the standalone DVD recorders, none of them can.

    I should also point out that this is a software issue (you don't even need a DVD burner to create VCDs or SVCDs; a CD burner would do).

    I hate cpu dvd burners
    They are way slow.
    Plus i have a Mac(Yes i kno u hate them)
    I just need a standalone recorder that does that.

  4. well don't plan on that to happen anytime soon if ever. if you are worried about scvd or vcds why not get a cd burner. you can get a good one for under 50 bucks and its fast. burn 700 megs in like 4 minutes............
