Hi,
I made a lot of VCDs and SVCDs (using TMPGEnc and VCDEasy) but sometimes I am still not happy with the video quality. DVD burning is too expensive for me, so I've decided to try to burn a DVD-quality movie on an ordinary CD. I've used Ulead DVD Workshop to create a dvd with a small video (15mins) and Nero to burn the ISO, the "DVD" is played on a PC by any software dvd player, but my home player recognises the media as a "CD" (this means audio/data CD)... Can anybody help me on that ? Is it possible or my idea is stupid ? Can I cheat the player (Pioneer 444) ?
